The Founder

Margaret Hansen

Margaret brings a rare combination of corporate rigour and entrepreneurial flexibility, having worked at the highest levels in HR across hospitality and retail. Since founding Only HR Margaret has worked within most industry sectors including education, egineering, manufactiong and banking amongst others.

Hilton Hotels — Completed a graduate trainee programme and was awarded her first HR Management position, laying the foundations for a distinguished career in people management.

National Training Provider — Progressed from Training and Development Manager to Area Training Manager, developing expertise in large-scale employee development programmes.

Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons & Le Petit Blanc Restaurants — Served as Personnel and Training Manager for Raymond Blanc's acclaimed restaurant group, bringing world-class HR standards to a unique hospitality environment.

Mint Hotels (Start-up to £600M sale) — Headed up the HR function from the ground up, including the opening of four major hotels. The company was subsequently acquired by Hilton for £600 million.

John Lewis Partnership — Held a variety of senior management roles across Recruitment, Project Management, and Training within one of the UK's most respected employee-owned businesses.

Only HR — Founded — Launched Only HR to bring strategic, flexible HR support to small and medium-sized businesses that wouldn't otherwise have access to this level of expertise.
